The Wish

The human capacity for growth is unlimited. We see ourselves and we see where we would like to change, but there is something that stands in our way if we let it. What is this enemy of growth? What keeps us from seeing ourselves as who we could be one day? It is always a lack of Belief. We dream of who we could be if we gave it our all, but deep down we doubt our own capacity to bring that dream to reality. We tell ourselves “I’m not good enough.”, “I don’t have the best background.”, “I’m not gifted.”, “I can’t do what they do.” These doubts that we feed ourselves also feed on us, causing our hopes and our dreams for the future to slowly wither away. We end up with a life of missed opportunities and sorrowful regrets. But there is hope. There is a wish that can be made and fulfilled. Choosing to believe in a better future, choosing to believe in a better you, this frame of mind will give you the insight and the willpower to blossom into more than you could ever dream. Keep the wish alive, and always water it with Belief.
